Reason #11: Good Care, Whatever the Need

If Laynie ends up having a learning disability, ADHD, or some other issues affecting her education, I’ll rest assured, knowing she’s well taken care of, because I will be the one making sure her needs are met. Teachers can’t possibly meet the needs of every unique child in the classroom 100% of the time. Even if they are certified as a “Special Needs” teacher, they still can’t possibly know my child as well as I do. And no teacher can ever love and care about my child as much as I do. As a previous teacher, I recognized that parents are always the best advocate for their own child, and usually know better than even a certified and trained teacher what their child needs.
