The Good Samaritan: Compassion and Generosity for Preschool

Description

Teach a beautiful lesson on character to your little ones through the story of the Good Samaritan! This character education lesson identifies the important character traits of compassion and generosity, and explores each trait as related to the story of the Good Samaritan. The story is further explored through an engaging board game that children are sure to love! This is one of the lessons included in the full Preschool Bible Curriculum (growing bundle, to be completed soon).

Read Luke 10:30-37 to your child and talk about this situation. Spend a few minutes with your child, age 3-7, talking about compassion and generosity. As well as answering any questions they may have about the story.

How to Use:

1. Read the Bible story aloud and explain to your child what it means to you.
2. Read and talk about the character traits on the posters. Share other examples that relate to your child. You can hang the posters for future reference.
3. Play the game together.
4. Have your child write and draw what he/she learned from this story. If he/she can’t write, you can write his/her sentence in a yellow marker and he/she can trace it.
