Have you ever wondered how Valentine’s Day began? Who first celebrated Valentine’s Day, and why all the special gifts, cards, candy for loved ones? This will answer your questions! It’s a FREE (for a limited time) printable holiday fact sheet for Valentine’s Day. I make these for homeschool families to be a quick and easy reference for introducing the basic facts about the various U.S. Holidays. Use them for copywork or notebooking or to introduce prior knowledge about the Valentine’s Day holiday before a project or lesson.
This post contains links to my TPT store, where I do earn money for sales of the items I create.
This is a work in progress. As I create them one at a time, they will be free for a limited time. My goal is to have them published a week or two before each occasion, so that homeschool families can use them as a quick briefing of the holiday coming up. If you wish, you can “follow” me on Teachers Pay Teachers so that you will not miss when I publish them.
This resource can also be used for notebooking, lapbooking, copywork, Reading comprehension, or as a basic tool for research. Eventually, after I’ve created a page for each holiday, I plan to publish them in one large download for your convenience. Watch my TPT store for that.
You can see all my printable fact sheets for holidays and seasonal events at the TPT store. My prices are very reasonable and “frugal,” I think. Most of my printables are introduced as freebies!
Just click the image below to lead to my current freebie. (If you reach this page after the free promotion has ended, I do apologize. However, my prices are very reasonable for the amount of time put into creating these, I hope you wouldn’t mind paying for the download and supporting my homeschooling family.)
