The Frugal Homeschooling Mom Blog

Deana Hipwell The Frugal Homeschooling Mom

Hi! I’m Deana Hipwell, and I’m “The Frugal Homeschooling Mom.” I’ve been homeschooling on a budget since 2008, and writing on this homeschool mom blog since 2009.

I love working with families to find the right homeschool curriculum for them – on a dime!

I am a working, single homeschool mom of three. You can find me daily making intentional choices to nurture my own family’s journey learning together. And when I have time, I come here to share our successes and failures along the way, hopefully as an encouragement to others. You can follow me on social media or email, which I update as I can.

When I’m not creating or writing, you can find me running my teen to her part-time job or volleyball practice, my 10 year-old to dance classes, or my 8 year-old to basketball or baseball practices. When I have time for relaxation… wait, who am I kidding? There’s very little time for relaxation at this phase in my life. It’s a busy, crazy life, but one full of purpose and fulfillment as I work to be the woman God has called me to be.

I try to use the blog here, the FREE email subscription to encourage and equip other moms like me, who may not have the support or finances to homeschool without working full time and finding curriculum that is frugal, practical, multi-age, complete, and smart!

Please check out all the curriculum I’m personally creating for you right here, as well as all the free homeschooling curriculum, resources, printables, curriculum reviews, deals and discounts for your family on my site. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I will try my best to answer you ASAP. I do love hearing from you!
