Learn Life Skills with SkillTrek

If you want to prepare your kids for the real world, then you need to make sure they know important life skills. It always shocks me how unprepared kids can be when they graduate. Many kids don’t know how to balance a checkbook, fill out an application, or any other number of skills important for adulthood.That’s why I’m excited to use SkillTrek to teach my kids these important life skills. 6 “Toys for Girls” that Boys Can Benefit from Too

Now that my little boy is growing up, I’ve been needing to buy him some “big boy” toys. We’re consigning the baby stuff, and investing in things like Legos, construction trucks, train sets, and Hot Wheels tracks. FREE Homeschooling Curriculum with Easy Peasy

Anytime I hear that magical four letter word *FREE* and homeschooling curriculum in the same sentence, it immediately intrigues me. With three kids who have vastly different educational needs, I’m always on the lookout for free curriculum that is still high quality and comprehensive. After hearing that Easy Peasy Homeschool is both free and all-inclusive, I knew I had to look into it.

Online Unit Studies

When it comes to homeschool curriculum during the Christmas holiday, I love using online resources, especially unit studies. Not only do my kids love being on the computer, I love how easy it is to complete a lesson. I don’t need to worry about printing off worksheets or having a bulky teacher’s manual on hand.
